IOSH Training Course
IOSH course covering awareness on individual health and safety responsibilities in the workplace.
This course will provide delegates with the knowledge required to ensure employees within an organisation understand their health and safety responsibilities in the workplace.
- The Law and Your Responsibilities
- Understanding the moral, legal and financial reasons for working safely
- Hazards and Risks
- Understanding what is meant by the terms 'hazard' and 'risk' and how to identify common hazards faced in the workplace
- Health & Safety Performance
- Understanding how to assist employers to improve safety performance in the workplace
- Environmental & Pollution Management
- Appreciate the fundamental requirements of effective environmental waste and pollution management
IOSH courses are delivered by HSS Training at IOSH accredited centers.
Following the completion of the course there will be a 2-4 week lead time for certificates to be despatched to delegates. There is no recourse for a Statement in Lieu during this lead time due to the requirement for IOSH to independently grade each assessment paper.
The process following course completion is as follows;
- Delegates complete an assignment at the end of the course
- Trainer marks the assignments within a 2 week deadline.
- Once marked results are submitted to IOSH/
- Certificates are received from IOSH and are forwarded on to the customer.
